Agim Mamuti – “SEEU – a path toward my success”

As an SEEU alumnus of the second graduated generation from the Faculty of Business Administration, 2006, I have greatly enjoyed the learning opportunities that SEEU has offered. SEEU was one of the schools that opened my doors to my future career.
After I got my SEEU diploma, I made a various academic and governmental working experience in the past ten years. After a successful five years career in the state government and local government, I started the academic career. Firstly, as a lecturer at the Business Academy Smilevski in Skopje, afterward as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, International Balkan University. In the period between September 2012 and August 2014, I was part of the academic staff of the International University of Sarajevo, teaching undergraduate, master and PhD courses. Currently, I am working as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of New York in Tirana and performing duties as Dean of Students.
Even when I was student of SEEU I was looking forward one day to teach the others. I want to teach because I like the opportunity to share my knowledge with my students and love the satisfaction that results from making them understand a difficult but interesting concept.
One of the advantages of being a part of the educational process is the satisfaction that you get from making a contribution to the community and to the society in general. It is also like being on a stage, where you instantly see the outcome of your day’s work. It gives me a lot of happiness when I see the expressions on the students’ faces that immediately tell me that they learned something new today! I like the fact that as someone in higher education, I have the opportunity to make a positive influence on a young person’s life.
Everywhere where I attend professional conferences, trainings and seminars, I promote the good image and reputation of SEEU.
Sincerely yours,
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Agim Mamuti
